Hon'ble Mr. Justice Vishwanath Gopal Palshikar

    Born on 7th January 1945 at Dhule. Studied till graduation in Hisloc College, Nagpur and obtained degree of Law from Pune University, having acquired third position of merit.

   Enrolled as Advocate on 26-6-68. Practised in the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court in constitutional, service and civil matters and specialised in writs, constitutional and service laws.  Also practiced Administrative and Co-perative law. Was member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra having been elected thereto in 1977 till 1985. Was Chairman of the Bar Council of Maharashtra in 1983.

Elevated as Judge to the HIgh Court of Bombay on 20th January, 1994 and transferred to Rajasthan High Court on 30th February, 1994. Re-transferred to the Bombay High Court on 1st June 2001.
