Hon'ble Mr. Chief Justice Tarun Chatterjee

• Born on 14.1.1945

• Enrolled as an Advocate of the Calcutta High Court in 1970.

• Practised in Civil, Criminal and Revenue related cases.

• Elevated as a permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 6th August, 1990.

• Appointed and took oath as Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court on 31st January, 2003.

• Due to retire on 13.1.2007.
