Shri Shridhar Trymbak Kharche was born on 3rd January,1944. He passed S.S.C. Board Examination in 1960. He graduated from Nagpur University and obtained B.Com. degree in 1964. He took M.Com. degree from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune in 1967. He took his education in Law at Indian Law Society's College of Law, Pune. He obtained LL.B. degree in 1972 in First Class with distinction from Pune University. He passed Ist LL.B. Examination with 64 % marks. He passed IInd LL.B. Examination and stood First Class second in order of Merit in the Pune University. He passed IIIrd LL.B. Examination in First Class and stood second in order of Merit in Pune University. Rukminikant Kulkarni Paritoshik with certificate and cash prize was awarded to him for securing highest number of marks in the University for Labour Laws and Trust Laws. He was enrolled on the role of Maharashtra Bar Council on 7th August, 1972. He practised as an Advocate at Malkapur Distt.Buldana till 14/02/1994 and then was directly appointed as Civil Judge, Jr.Dn., & J.M.F.C. on 14/02/1974. He was promoted as Additional District Judge & Additional Sessions Judge, on 1/10/1984. He was elevated to the post of District & Sessions Judge, on 30/11/1991 and as such served in various Districts in the State of Maharashtra since then till today. He was also appointed as Additional Registrar [Adm.] in the High Court of Bombay, Bench at Nagpur from 4/6/1997 to 11/10/2000. He had put the High Court Bench at Nagpur on line by completing the project of Computerization successfully. He was District & Sessions Judge, Thane from 1st December,2001 till 3rd October, 2002 on which date he has been elevated to the High Court of Bombay.
