Hon'ble Mr. Justice S. Sankarasubban
Justice
Shri.S. Sankarasubban belongs to an aristocratic Brahmin family at
Karamana in Thiruvananthapuram. He was born
on 24-5-1944 to Mrs & Mr. T.S.
Sankar . His ancestors were
outstanding personalities. Two of
his uncles - Retd.. Justice T.S. Krishnamoorthy Iyer and Retd. Justice S.
Padmanabhan were Judges in Kerala High Court and Madras High Court respectively.
His grandfather, Sankarasubba Iyer was a Judge of outstanding merit in
the Travancore High Court. Shri.
Sankarasubba Iyer's grandfather Divan Sankarasubba Iyer was a person of great
talents and was the Diwan of Travancore . His
Lordship after graduation in Law,
started practice under Sri. N.
Sankara Iyer in 1968, shifted to Ernakulam in 1972 and was working with
Sri.S.Narayanan Potti (late), who was the Advocate General of Kerala when he
became the judge. He was one of
the leading members of the Bar.
He was Standing Counsel for the KSRTC, Trivandrum Rubber Works, Indian
Overseas Bank and other undertakings, both in the public and private sectors.
He is thorough in all branches of law.
