Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sudhakar Dattatraya Gundewar

Born on 2-1-1941 at Hingoli, District Parbhani. Had High School education at Hingoli and College education at Pune. Obtained B.Com. and LL.B. degrees from Pune University. Secured first class first in both the years of law examination. Worked as part-time Professor of Law in M.P. Law College, Aurangabad for one year. Enrolled as an Advocate in 1966. Practised for a period of four years from 1968 to 1972 at District Court at Parbhani as well as at Hingoli Taluka in Civil and Criminal matters. Joined the Judicial Service as Civil Judge, Junior Division, in 1972 and worked in various capacities. Promoted as Additional District Judge in 1982 and as District Judge in 1989. Served as District Judge at Bhandara, Jalgaon, Ratnagiri and Nashik. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a period of 2 years on 9-6-1997, and confirmed as a Permanent Judge on 7-6-1999.
