• Graduated in Science in the year 1971 from Allahabad University and passed LL.B. in the year 1975 from Allahabad University.

• Enrolled as an advocate in the year 1975 in Uttar Pradesh Bar Council, Allahabad.

• Practised in the areas Taxation (Income Tax, Trade Tax and Central Excise) in High Court, Allahabad.

• Elevated as permanent Judge on 21/12/2002.

• Due to retire on 14/08/2015.
