Hon'ble Mr. Justice Pratap Kumar Ray

Born on 9th January, 1951. Passed M. Sc. (Pure Math) from the University of Burdwan and LL. B. from the University of Burdwan. Stood 3rd in All India Inter University Elocution contest organised by R. K. Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Calcutta in the year 1972. Stood 1st in Inter University Debate competition held by University of Burdwan. Secured certificate of merit in the All India Inter-University Elocution contest organised by R. K. Mission Institute of Culture, Calcutta in the year 1974. Got the award as best speaker and debater by the University of Burdwan for consecutive years 1972 to 1974. Enrolled as advocate in Bar Council on 29th July, 1975 and Enrolled as Senior Advocate on 4th September, 1995. Elevated as Judge of the High Court at Calcutta on 15th September, 2000.
