Born on 7th April 1957.  Graduated in the faculty of law from the then Bombay University in the year 1979.  Enrolled  as an  Advocate in the year  1980.  Started practise in the High Court of Bombay , Bench at Aurangabad in 1982-83. Appointed as Honorary Assistant to the Government Pleader, High Court, Bench at Aurangabad, by the Govt. of Maharashtra in the year 1983.  Appointed as Additional Standing Counsel for the Union of India in the  High Court , Bench at Aurangabad in the year 1988.

Appeared on behalf of i) M.S.R.T. Corporation ii) Municipal Councils & iii) Zilla Parishads in the High Court. Appearing as Standing Counsel for the State Election Commission, State of Maharashtra and Railways in the High Court. Experience of practicing in District Court from 1980 to 1982 at Latur with my Senior/Father Advocate Shri. H.V. Patil. Conducted various cases at admission and final hearing stages- Writ Petitions, criminal and civil in th High Court. Appeared in the Supreme Court of India with Senion Counsel.

Elevated as Judge of the Bombay High Court on 12th October, 2001.
