Hon'ble Mr. Justice D.G. Deshpande

Born on 28-06-1945. He was enrolled as an Advocate in April-May, 1968. He practised for 21 years mainly in Wardha District and occasionally appeared before High Court at Nagpur in Civil and Criminal Matters. He specialised mainly in Civil Matters. He was appointed as a Judge of the City Civil Court Bombay on 20-08-1989 and was confirmed in the Grade on 30-11-1993. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 11-03-1996 and permanent Judge on 07-01-1997. Due to retire on 28-06-2007. He is interested in writing. So far six books written by him have been published. They are in Marathi. Some of them are as under : Chinmayalilavilas - a book on spirituality and "Yoga" published by Keshav Bikhaji Dhavale Prakashan. A Novel on Saint Dhyaneshwar (Sankarshanagni) published by Manorama Prakashan; and Rajsatta, Dharmsatta Aani Dnyaneshwar, published by Keshav Bhikaji Dhavale Prakashan. He has done research on "Vedas" and Modern Scientific theories in "Vedas" in the branches of Astronomy, Atomic Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and the research work is going to be published by a reputed publishing house viz. Popular Prakashan, Bombay within a period of couple of months. He is writing a book in English viz. "R" Factor - Role and Relationship.
